Description of Services

Swedish Massage

Full body relaxation massage. Promotes relaxation, increases circulation of blood and lymph, helps the body detoxify, and provides relief to strained muscles.

Neuromuscular

Trigger Point Therapy works by applying a specific amount of pressure to inflamed areas of the body. Trigger points are usually very painful to the touch. By releasing these trigger points, the client is able to get immediate relief from pain and range of motion is increased.

Deep Tissue

With injury or overuse, scar tissue is formed in the muscular system. This causes pain and restricted range of motion. Deep tissue works to break up that scar tissue and increase range of motion.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a highly specialized stretching technique. This technique is used to equalize muscle tension throughout the body. Unequal muscle tension can compress nerves and muscles causing pain.

Lymphatic Massage

The lymphatic system plays a key role in the elimination of toxins from the body. By stimulating the lymphatic system, the immune system is strengthened.

Pre and Post-Natal

Pregnancy can cause muscle strain to the body, especially to the low back, pelvic girdle and legs. Massage improves circulation, relieves muscles tension, and improves flexibility. It is great for mom and baby!

TMJ Massage

Tightness and muscle pain in the jaw muscles can result from TMJ Dysfunction. TMJ massage involves massaging of the muscles inside the mouth. This relieves trigger points in the jaw, which can contribute to neck, head, and cervical pain.

Geriatric Massage

Gentle massage improves circulation and helps the body absorb more oxygen and nutrients. Therapeutic massage also promotes a feeling of well being and improves sleep patterns.

Hand and Foot Reflexology

In Chinese medicine, it is believed that the body is mapped out on the feet and hands. Reflexology is used to stimulate and revitalize the energy flow of vital organs in the body.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique based on Cranial Osteopathy.  CST seeks to restore the natural rhythmic movement found in the cerebrospinal fluid (between the skull and sacrum).  It is indicated for many conditions, including headaches/migraines, TMJ, chronic pain, and more.
